Chapter5: The planets (part1)

I once read in a book, that if moon effects the sea in bringing tide then or if sun affects the sunflowers then why cant these things affect us? Afterall we are a part of nature as well right? So,
In planets part1 we will see read about the planets that affect us the most often and with a higher force / speed.

# Sun

The sun travels through the 12 signs on its annual journey spending almost a month in each. The position of the Sun on your birthday determines your sign. Like my lil sis's 7th May making her a Taurus.

In astrology the sun represents who you are, its the present and right in this moment of yours. It is also what you can be in the future. A person is the most happy when they are behaving as themselves. This doesnt mean to copy all traits you read about your sign but understanding how many of them do you have and on what strength do you have them.

In Greek Mythology (who believed planets as gods /godesses) Sun was represented by Helios.

Rulling planet of leo (meaning it affects them in a great amount)

It represents: ego, personal power, pride, authority, leadership qualities, vitality and principal of creativity.

# Moon

The moon travels through the twelve signs spending around 2 and a half day in each sign. (It is likely to have different moons for twins)

In astrology moon is all that the sun isnt. If sun is our outer shell, our in this moment and future. The moon is our past memories and all the feelings. Your moon carries your secret desires, your wishes, your likes, deslikes and prejudisces. If sun wants you to be rational then moon wants you to be irreational. Its gowerns your intutives, gut feelings, huntches. Your spontanious reactions and I don't know why I said that / I don't know why I feel like this.

It also has a huge hand in your creativity. An artist or authors are very much influenced by the moon. Its best to keep a good balance with the sun and moon by being true to yourself, esspecialy if you want to avoided the conflict of yourself.

Its the rulling planet of Cancer.

It represents: emotional make up, unconcious habits, memories of the past (esspecialy childhood), and moods.

# Mercury

Mercury, A.K.A the messenger of Gods. The hottie on a bike with parsels of life. The planet mercury travels and spends around 7.33 days in each sign.

Mercury is the governer of talks and how you express your thoughts. In the age of tecnology we meet people's mercury way before we meet them. Its mercury who desiceds how you express an idea in a text or email. What slangs you use, how many emojies you put or in my case BTS memes.

Mercury is the curious little child in all of us, it doesnt hangs on with practical or emotions it just keeps going. But it has a habit of breaking and making things.

In a personal point, the mercury is in the sign of your birthchart represents what your personal style of communication. By house, it shows where you put your more thoughts on. What kind of and how much information fo you like to resieve of give. A storong mercury is equal to bundle of curiousity.

It rules Gemini and Virgo. (My mum and my crush smh.)

It represents: mentality, reasoning, rationality, inttelect, language and intellenges.

It governs: education, travels and forms of communication.

# Venus

Venus is the Goddess of love, beauty and money.
It spends 18.75 days in each sign.

Venus represents our thoughts in matter of love and liusure. The sign in which our venus us tells us about what type of love do we like, the one that gives us security (cancer) The one with give and take (libra) or the one with the thrill of the chase and hard to get (Aries)

It also gowerns grace, charm and beauty. It's position in the house shows in what sector do you find your pleasures. Is it day-to-day work and routine, clean home and family or study and travel.

It also takes care of gifts that you give and recieve. How much do you like to spend on it and of course on what do you like to spend on.

On that point, traditionaly astrologers used to see venus in man and female differently. As man at times doesnt show their venus on themselves or owns it rather they use it on the one they love later in life. While a woman owns the venus.

It rules Taurus and Libras.

It represents: feminity, love, attraction, harmony, relationships, beauty and art.

It governes: romantic relationship, marriage, buisness paternership, arts, fasion and social life.

# Mars

Mars the God of War, in astrology is the planet of action, energy and desire. It spends 57.26 days in each sign.

Our instinct of survival, anger and agression is ruled by it. If venus gowerns attraction mars gowerns bodily lust.

Mars handles the drive, the desire nature and our active energy.

Mars by sign in our chart shows basic sexual nature, how we express our anger, what makes us angery and our instinct to act. By house it shows where in life we apply our drive and enthusiasm.

It rules Aries.

Represents: confidence, self assertion, sexuaility, aggration, energy, strength and abition.

It governs: sports, competision and physical activity in general.

This are the five which affects us the most and are easy to notice. They are different from people to people as they spend less time in one sign than other 5 to come.
